Restaurants in Breckenridge Colorado
After two months of renovations, new owners Brett Cox and Sarah Petty reopened this 12-year-old day-to-night hangout three weeks ago — and you should see what they’ve done with place. “It used to feel like a Greek or Italian restaurant, with three-foot angels and vines all over, ” laughs Cox. Now it’s got a more modern, lodge-meets-lounge vibe going on, with lots of wood and stone tiles, comfy armchairs and sofas to add to its main draws: two fireplaces within and a brick-lined, view-blessed patio without. The casual cafe menu’s been updated and streamlined, too, with panini like the Lincoln (turkey, bacon, goat cheese, avocado, spinach and tomato on ciabatta) and flatbreads such as the Thai chicken curry proving particularly popular (along with housemade pastries for breakfast). And finally, the full bar now turns out craft cocktails and stocks about 25 craft beers by the bottle, from Unibroue to Lagunitas, as a supplement to the coffee drinks, including the signature mocha drizzled with chocolate and caramel (pictured).
