Hearthstone Restaurants Breckenridge Company

I have dined at Hearthstone 2 to 3 times per year for the last 15 years. Prior to this experience I would have given 5 stars across the board. I was extremely disappointed in the service, during this meal.

Although the restaurant requires a credit card to make a reservation, they were unable to hold their end of the deal. A table was not ready on our arrival. While the wait was only 10 minutes, no apology was made. It was all matter of fact.

We were seated at what must be the worst table in the restaurant. It was on the second story immediately in front of the bar and the waiters' service area. The floor and two of the chairs at our table bounced every time anyone walked past our table to reach the five tables located more forward in the restaurant. This table should be eliminated from the floorplan.

The waiter was unfamiliar with the evening's specials. My son's appetizer arrived prior to my daughter's or my appetizer. I suggested he begin eating, since a deep fried lobster tail would not wait well. He had finished his appetizer prior to the other appetizers arrival. My daughter ordered a second drink, and although a second drink arrived for my son, we had to inquire of the waiter what had become of my daughter's drink.
