Should the table that comes in after you get 2 rounds of bread before you get one? Should you get your entree or your salad first? Should your dinner plates be cleared before you receive your dessert? Needless to say I will never visit this restaurant again. Too bad. The ambiance suggests quality but in reality it was just an overpriced Denny's. I should have just ordered a burger from the dive bar they sent me up to, to await my table. Thumbs Down!
It's just OK. menu never seems to change. The kids enjoy it. The score should be 2.5 and not 3.
We went on a recommendation from a local friend. The staff and owner were very friendly. I had the bone in ribeye. It was the best steak I've had in a while. We split the scallops for an appetizer, and they were surprisingly amazing! I'll go back next time I'm in town!
I would have to agree with much of what the first poster had to say. The service was average and it seemed that since it was the end of the season (4/23/11) that we were more of a bother than anything else. They were out of 5 different entrees since it was the end of the season which I somewhat understand. I received the 14oz ribeye which wasn't bad but could get the same steak at Safeway for 4.99/lb. The veggies were cold as was the potato. The 5 others in my party said there meals were nothing but average or less. Probably the worst part was that they add a 20% gratuity for parties of 5 or more which does not incentivise the waitstaff to do anything other than their job. I don't think that it is my responsibility to pay a SALARY to the waitstaff. I would advise you to choose another restaurant when in Breckenridge. This is not a good restaurant.
