Peak 9 is a village area in the ski resort town of Breckenridge, Colorado, that sits below the 13, 198-foot summit of the same name. The mountain face has a selection of ski runs for all abilities and connects with the more challenging bowls and chutes of Peak 8 via the Peak 8 SuperConnect lift. The Peak 9 village is divided into two areas: Beaver Run and the lower Village at Breckenridge, each with its own selection of lodging.

Beaver Run Resort

An anchor of the Beaver Run area, the Beaver Run Resort (beaverrun.com) is a 500-room lodging that offers ski-in/ski-out access to the Beaver Run SuperChair lift. The resort bills itself as Breckenridge's only full-service slopeside resort. It offers a combination of guestrooms, suites and condos. The property has a selection of dining options, including several bars, a restaurant and a deli/market. Amenities include an indoor/outdoor pool, an arcade room, seven lift-side hot tubs, a steam room and sauna, and a spa.

Village at Breckenridge Hotels

Located below the Beaver Run area, the Village at Breckenridge is close to Main Street, within walking distance of town. The village accesses Breckenridge Resort via the Quicksilver Chair. Hotel options include the Village Hotel and the Great Divide Lodge Just steps from Main Street, the Village Hotel has 60 guestrooms, studios and suites, and amenities like an indoor/outdoor pool, hot tubs and concierge service. The Great Divide Lodge is a 208-room property with rooms that average 550 square feet.

Village Condo Rentals

A selection of condominium rentals and complexes surround the greater Peak 9 base area. Der Steiermark, managed by ResortQuest (resortquestbreckenridge.com), is directly across the street from Peak 9 on Park Avenue. You can book studio to two-bedroom condos that are central to both the resort and town. ResortQuest includes amenities like shuttle service, 24-hour front desk service and an outdoor hot tub. One Breckenridge Place, also managed by ResortQuest, is a block from both the Quicksilver chair and Main Street, making it central to both town and the resort.

Village Townhome Rentals

Saddlewood Townhomes (resortquestbreckenridge.com) provide ski-in/ski-out access along the Snowflake Run. In the summer, the location gives you direct access to hiking and mountain biking. The townhomes include amenities like outdoor hot tubs and gourmet kitchens. The Cedars Townhomes are ski-in/ski-out homes two blocks from Main Street, the River Walk Center and Historic Maggie Pond. The free shuttle is also convenient to the townhomes. Some units are operated by Ski Village Resorts (skivillagelodging.com).
