Super friendly and helpful! Very accommodating for the changes we wanted/needed during our trip. Refunded us for unused rental day. Equipment was great! Will use this place again.
If you're looking for a place to take your bike to get worked on, these guys should be your go-to, no questions! The whole crew of mechanics is really knowledgable and friendly. They also have a great selection of bike parts, gear, etc.
The guys at Carvers offered us an awesome rental experience! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for rentals in the area. They were extremely knowledgeable and took the time to ensure that we got what we needed. Definitely head here for all of your rental needs!
Rented my boards from here for my vacation to breck. Very nice employees. They exchanged my skis for me for my second day because I wanted something different. I got 20% off because I also rented from book breck cabins. I would recommended this place for sure. Nice equipment and cute little shop downtown.
Best rentals in town. But they do not sell new skis or boards and clothing selection is good but the selection is small. Back to the rentals. Rent in advance on-line and get 20% off. And the gentlemen that helped me last year and this year is Sean. Cool and very helpful guy. Knows his stuff. One of the best. Reason I always rent from Carvers.
Rented some cruisers for a few days after checking prices and these guys were best.3 great Treks, 3 days... all good and helmets come as part of pkg. Quick rental and return process.
My Air bnb host recommended this rental shop and I'm so glad he did! We didn't make reservations ahead of time, so I assumed we would end up paying more than the online reservation system, but it ended up being exactly the same (at least I'm pretty sure it was...our host might've helped us get a % off). Either way, this shop was great! I opted for the "demo" package, which were the best skis available and I lucked out with a slick new pair of Rossi's that looked like they had only been worn a handful of times. The bindings were also brand new and my boots were about as comfortable as ski boots can possibly be. My boyfriend also opted to rent a demo board and he loved it so much that he's been scoping out models just like it to buy. I also got a cool hat from there. The workers were great, the skis and boards were better than any other rentals that I've ever used, and the prices are competitive...definitely make this your go-to rental place on your next trip to Breck!
The particular salesperson who assisted me, Will, was very helpful and professional. He spent quite a bit of time with me even though I was shopping for a relatively small item and the place was extremely busy.
First off, the service is amazing. The salesman spent a ton of time with my wife fitting her for new googles and my daughter for a new helmet. They're experts. They know what they're doing and they don't up-sell you. Their prices, for the items we purchased, were better then other stores we visited. Now here's the big one. The customer service is top of the heap. They accidentally left the security tag on the googles and instead of hemming and hawing about whether or not they would come to us or we would have to go to them they said "We'll be there in 5 to 10 minutes to take it off." And he did arrive in less then 10 minutes. When you receive that level of service, combined with everything else I wrote about the experts and their prices, you know you've found THE store you'll purchase ski equipment at when in Breck. Thanks Carvers!
Carvers is Awesome! They tuned up my Niche Snowboard for the 15-16 Season and fixed my Adidas speed Lace boots. They have a loyalty program so you can get a little discount.
It's too bad that I'm not a local. (Dangerous for me if I was!) They have a ton of awesome gear. The employee that helped me was extremely friendly and helpful. He was extremely knowledgable and helped me select exactly what I needed! They really need to make an online store!
Thank you! Thank you! We rode our bikes from Frisco to Breckenridge two weekends ago. My bicycle had a little problem with a tire. A fine fellow named Sean helped me out. We asked him a bunch of dumb questions because we're kind of amateurs at this biking thing and he was super cool and super helpful, very informative and most importantly very patient. Next time I'm in Breck, I am definitely buying some gear there. Just because they're awesome.
These guys are rad, whenever I need a quick tune up or advice on mountain bike components, they are always willing to help and give good advice. I recommend them to anyone in search of top notch service and knowledge. Super helpful and always friendly. Especially the manager Sam and owner Thad, these guys are not only beautiful on the outside, but also on the inside. Two thumbs up and around!
Carvers offers convenient ski rentals on Main St. about a 5 minute walk from the gondola. We reserved our rentals online and for the skis, poles, boots, and helmet, the rental came out to about $26 a person. Not bad at all. The only downfall to our experience there was the wait time. We were in a rush in the morning to get to our ski lesson. We didn't know it would take 30-40 minutes to get all our of rentals. To get rentals there were only two guys helping out. Two guys that were pretty laid back and in no rush. They were really nice and helpful but I do wish they had sped up the whole process or if there were maybe one or two more guys to help out. Other than that, I thought everything went pretty smoothly. All of the equipment was in decent shape, the location was very convenient, and I was happy with the prices.
Great employees and customer service all the way around. I picked up my snowboard package rental the night before I was planning to hit the slopes so I could get on the lifts first thing in the morning. I initially rented for two days but was exhausted after one full day so I returned before 6:00pm and got a full refund for the second day. Very well ran shop with polite and knowledgeable employees!
This is a very well run operation right in the middle of town. I own several vacation rentals within walking distance to Carver's. I recommend this shop to all our guests because I only hear, from them (my guests), positive things.
Perfect place to take your bikes. They will fix anything you need for a low price. Their turn around was extremely fast as well. I would highly recommend taking your technical equipment here for service.
The hostel recommended this place to get info on good mountain bike rides. These folks did not disappoint. They spent an hour in the morning explaining my options. I brought them my bike at the end of the day, after it took a beating. They fixed my front brake and diagnosed my front shock lockout problem - for $10. You have to pay the LBS in Washington DC $50 just to look at your bike, and they're fixing it here for the price of lunch. They sorted me out to get the part I needed at a good price.
