Melanie graduated from the Academy of Cosmetology Arts in 1994 and started her career in Aveda at the Breckenridge Hair Company. In 2003 she became the owner.

Since then she has taken Aveda master cutting and color classes, among many product knowledge, hair extension, trends, clippers, and men’s cutting to mention a few. Melanie loves training new stylists and keeping up on new hair trends. Her greatest passion is hair color, and making people beautiful.

Tony began working at Breckenridge Hair in 2016 and soon became manager. He is currently a student at the Academy of Cosmetology Arts working towards his cosmetology license. After graduating in June of 2017, he will return to school to acquire his barbers license. His main passion is barbering but he also enjoys doing women’s hair color and cutting.

Tony is working under the owner currently doing discounted services. Tony takes pride in his work and enjoys helping people modernize their personal style!

After graduating from the Aveda Institute, Mandy spent her time in Denver not only working in a full service Aveda salon, but also participating in multiple hair and fashion shows. She regularly continues her education by taking classes in current hair trends and by learning new tricks to keep her clientele fashionable and up-to date.

Originally from Maine, Mandy understands the need to create versatile cuts and color while taking the extra steps necessary in creatively customizing each design for her new and existing guests.

Katie has been a part of the Breckenridge Hair team since she moved to Summit County in early 2013. She has been doing hair in the industry for over 4 years now. Prior to working here, she graduated at the top of her class from the Salon Professional Academy, and then worked in a Redken salon down on the Front Range. She is thoroughly trained in both Redken and Aveda and has kept up with the latest trends and methods by regularly taking advanced and specialty Aveda classes.

Katie has styled hair for many different productions such as the Nutcracker On Ice and the Dew Tour Fashion Show, in addition to traveling frequently to execute the perfect hair style for brides on their big day. She specializes in natural balayage, dimensional color, blondes, long layers and lobs. A thorough consultation and a style that is easily replicated at home is what Katie places importance on with all of her clients!

Rebecca graduated from the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She brings with her 24 years of experience. She is meticulous with her cuts, colors, and styles alike.

On your special day, Rebecca will achieve the perfect updo you pictured in your minds eye. Giving you a fresh new perspective, your hair will be in very capable hands.

Sedna has been working in the salon since she was 14 years old. Growing up in the salon and following in her mom’s footsteps, she graduated from the Academy of Cosmetology Arts in 2016. Sedna has an artistic eye and incorporates this into her career. She has great attention to detail and loves doing hair and makeup for weddings and formal events.

Sedna also takes continuing education classes from Aveda and Jane Iredale, where she learned to educate clients on their at home makeup application, improving their self esteem and confidence.

Bebe is a graduate of the International Spa and Salon Academy. She has been doing hair for six years. Bebe has had a passion for the hair and beauty industry for as long as she can remember. She continues taking specialized classes with Aveda.

Some of her favorite services include, men’s, women’s, and children’s cut/styles, fashion colors, highlighting, and facial waxing. As well as beard trimming and shaping. Bebe has a gentle touch and strives to understand each clients’ concerns in order to give them the best experience at Breckenridge Hair Company.
